Over a thousand students are enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences of Special Needs Education in the following degree programs: Master's in Special Needs Education, with specialisations in either Special Needs Education in Schools or Early-Childhood Special Needs Education, and Bachelor's courses in Psycho-motor Therapy and Sing Language Interpreting. We are one of the few Universities of Applied Sciences in Switzerland that focuses its research on special needs education. Sign language interpreting is an important aspect within the five research areas. Several research projects on Swiss German Sing Language are conducted. The outcomes of our research have an impact on our programs and continuous education.
